Hallo Friends,
This is a message to give thanks!
For those of you that prayed for the School of Biblical Studies Core Course (SBSCC) in Athi River Nairobi, We are going 5 weeks with four students. Amongst them we have an Evangelist from Nigeria, a women’s leader from Nairobi, a civil engineer and a lady missionary from YWAM. We are experiencing God under the leadership of James Kairu who Moses had been training over the last year. Louis Ndlovu from Zimbabwe is still serving with us and learning more in hope that he can plant this same school in his country. Mildred & Zulu who staff the School of Biblical Studies here in Nairobi and are a great blessing with their wealth of experience from the Bible have joined us. Please continue praying that these people will transform their different spheres of influence.
On a more personal note, God has answered our prayers for a car. Thank you for praying with us. We received a gift for the exact amount we were praying for. We now have a 2nd hand Toyota Station Wagon that only had 65,000km on it. God is good! We are able to serve the SBSCC more effectively and give ourselves more to other things that were neglected due to time wasted commuting and waiting for & in public transport. Please pray for Moses who doesn’t have a lot of experience driving that he will adjust well on the very busy Mombasa road. Any experienced driver certainly needs Gods guidance on that road.
This coming July we will head for South Africa where Moses has been invited to lead an SBSCC. JoAnna will be a student on the same school. We will not have any break in between since the Kenyan school will still be having 4 weeks to go before they graduate when we leave. We need God’s refreshment and providence for the venture. Please pray that God will continue to bless out SBSCC development endeavors in East & Southern Africa. We had a wonderful time on last year’s SBSCC in Muizenberg S. Africa under Dale’s leadership in the July-September school. We are excited about the opportunity to bless that nation again. We do covet your continued prayer support as we coordinate with speakers on short notice.
We would still dearly love to have something going in Tanzania & in Rwanda. We are working towards that but communication is a bit slow. We believe God will open doors in due time. SBSCC in a powerful tool and we are totally convinced that it is God’s Word and not revolutions that will bring hope to Africa. Viva Gospel, Viva Jesus!
Love,
Moses & JoAnna
