Wonderful Priviledge

Though he was God, he did not think equality with God as something to cling to.
Instead, he gave up his divine privileges,
he took the humble position of a slave,
and was born as a human being.
(Phil 2:6,7, NLT)

God with us.  Three small words.  Yet how they change everything.  Our prayer this Christmas season and in the coming year is that you would know His presence with you each and every step of your way.

It's been a wonderful privilege over the past several months to spend time with family on three continents.  Family in our mission, as we took part in a regional staff conference in Spain.  Family in the US, and not just those related us!  Family here in Chad, working together with us, welcoming us home after our travels, sharing their lives with us.  So much of what we do in the Kingdom revolves around family, God's family, and it is indeed a wonderful thing to be a part of it.

Over the summer we spent a few months in the US, and enjoyed spending time with many there.  Our time in PA was very short, so if we missed you, we hope to catch you next time.  (Our door is open in Chad, if you want to come our way to visit!!)  A special highlight for the children was spending two weeks with their cousins (and brave aunt & uncle!) in Wisconsin, while their Mom and Dad went to a YWAM North Africa gathering, coming back encouraged and refreshed by times of fellowship with other workers and in worship and exhortation.

CHALLENGES
A leak in our house and a problem with the power line on our street meant that we had a lot to do when we returned home.  Thankfully, it was all taken care of and life has returned to normal, homeschool has gotten off to a great start, and we are doing well apart from some persistent coughs and colds, common in this dry, dusty season.  We continue to appreciate prayers for daily life to go smoothly, as many of things we take for granted in many countries can consume a lot of time and energy here.

MINISTRY

Moses was one of the speakers in a missions conference in Illinois in October, and after a little over a week in the US, spent a few weeks in Europe, spending time with friends from Chad, and friends who have lived and worked with us here.  After traveling through several countries in a matter of a few weeks, we are ALL happy that he is home again.  Our family is spread out on 3 continents beyond Africa.

 TRAINING
Two DTS teams successfully completed 5 months of outreach in 2014.  More details on our blog mosesnjo.blogspot.com .  The School of Biblical Studies is half way through and going well.  It is always a joy to see the students grow, not only in their knowledge of the Word, but in their hunger for the Lord, and to know Him more.
