Someone Special!

Dear Friends,

We had our first SBSCC graduation on the African soil on June the 18th. I am full of gratitude to God who made it possible. Planing and preparing for this first School of Biblical Studies Core Course on the African Continent was challenging. Its easy to just worship the Lord seeing how many obstacles He brought us through. The biggest one was communication as we moved the YWAM Kenya National Offices. Transferring our phones and fax just took ‘forever’ (after 5 months only one phone line was transferred and functional). As though that wasn’t enough, our published Email services crashed for two months and nobody could contact us unless we contacted them first and gave them our alternative address. Talk of Spiritual Warfare and if the beginning of this year wasn’t it then I just don’t know. The Athi River Base which is functional but semi developed still has no running water, electricity or phone. This posed quite a challenge for evening classes as no slide projections or overheads can be used on the base yet. On a personal level, my sisters demise was quite a challenge but again Gods grace was sufficient.

With all those challenges, Praise God an International SBSCC with seven Nationalities has graduated. Our speakers were drawn from 8 different nationalities and hey, my prayer for an international school has been answered. These school has been miracle after miracle providence wise as half of the students were financially challenged yet we felt God would have us equip His servants with sound Biblical foundation.

As a school we need a few more miracles financially in order to meet our financial obligations. If all the students that owe paid ($620), we would still need to raise $240 to cover all our costs.

Also on a personal level, God has brought someone special into my life. Her name is JoAnna and she too is a missionary with YWAM. I met her at the LTS in S.Africa and right now she is here to spend time with me as well as serve the SBSCC as supportive staff. We would really appreciate your prayers; that God will order our steps. Our hearts desire is to see God glorified in our lives. God willing we will be going to staff the second SBSCC on African soil together in Muizenberg (Cape Town, S.A) this July. Later this year I hope to go meet her family in Pennsylvania in the US. Please pray for us ... providence and guidance. (I need to see about $3000 come in, Jo needs $2000).

My passion continues to be the discipling of the nations. I desire to see a new reformation replace the renaissance that sweeps across the two third world today in bloody revolutions.

The church in the Two Third world is multiplying speedily, my vision as a Pioneer is to see men and women equipped to help this church grow into the fullness of Christ Ep 4. 11ff through the knowledge of God through Scripture. As it is there is a lot of passion with limited knowledge in a lot of the Two Thirds world, hopefully as we labor together searching the scriptures, God will reveal transforming truths and principles that will release us and multitudes of others into their destiny in Christ Jesus. The Scriptures have in the past provided truths that reformed whole Nations as men and women committed to study and apply them.

Please pray that God will continue opening doors for this to happen. It is only God that can make changes as we co-work with Him and partner with each other.

Please pray:

  • · For the SBSCC development in East and Southern Africa, up next is S.Africa, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya.
  • · We need Staff, Students,
  • · $$$ &
  • · Facilities
  • · That the just graduated missionaries will make a difference in their respective spheres of influence.

(Our theme motif was Ndovu/ Elephant) Leave a mark wherever God sends you.

In His precious love,
